Welcome to Simlångsdalen’s longest running gravel event! This is not a race, it’s a fun community challenge!

Between 75 and 100 riders participate each year, making this a laid back gravel adventure where you can still test your limits!
A fun gravel adventure with two different routes; 110 km or 60 km (both 90% gravel). This is not a race but a community event!
A whole weekend of cycling, or a one day event, it’s up to you!
Come for two days, stay over at the quiet forest pension Sågknorren and enjoy a 70 km guided group ride with lunch stop on Saturday and the main event on Sunday. A perfect way to enjoy a weekend in the Swedish wilderness! See more below.

This is a casual event. It is not a race. There are no race numbers and no winners. It is a challenge to ride the rolling hills of Simlångsdalen and follow the GPX course on your GPS device. You cannot do this route without some type of GPS that you can follow on your handle bars. The event is self-supported, so you will be expected to be able to fix your own mechanical issues. Bring basic tools and tubes.
Each course is designed with the rider’s safety and enjoyment in mind. There are challenging sections, according to ability on all three routes, but they are designed to be fun not dangerous.
There is free parking available. There are showers on site, as well as an after ride barbecue (please register for it) Registration and collecting bars and gels before start. Registration closes 9:40.
Epic Weekend
Why not make it a weekend? Come up Friday night or Saturday morning and enjoy a whole weekend of riding.
Saturday morning we start with a friendly-paced group ride. We will meet up at 10 am Saturday at Sågknorren for a light fika and time to get changed, bikes set up, etc. Ride to our lunch destination (this is not included). Then continue the tour eventually coming back to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Dinner at the hotel. You will have access to the hot tub and sauna for the evening. The hotel has a small bar and 2 or 3 private lakes and a canoe or two as well.
Breakfast Sunday morning, the Epic event starts at 10. After the event is the Grill Buffet (and sauna and hot tub). Then you are free!
